Dead? Veggie? How to Solve the McConnell Mystery

Laura Loomer claims that "White House source" told her that McConnell is brain-dead.

Scott Jennings said he had a pleasant conversation with McConnell.

Hmmm.

OK, then, let's settle it.  Have McConnell call a journalist like, for example, John SolomonEven better, invite Solomon to the hospital for a live and in-person dialog.

  2. Congress should appoint Joe Biden to investigate this for them.

    1. Trump is more brain dead. He can compare notes with Mitch on how to fall asleep during a press conference.

  3. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) wants answers about Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) health.

The 84-year-old senator has been in the hospital for almost four weeks. His office hasn’t provided any details.

“Over the last several weeks, Kentuckians have grown increasingly concerned about the health and well-being of Sen. McConnell. As Governor – and a fellow public official who understands the commitment we’ve made to the people we serve – I am requesting the Senator provide an update on his current health status

  4. Kentucky is one of five States where a Senator is replaced by election and not by appointment by the governor

Senate replacement procedures vary by state
The current system for filling vacant Senate seats dates to the ratification of the 17th Amendment in 1913. Along with letting people elect their senators directly – state legislatures had chosen them up to that point – the amendment gave states the option of letting their governors appoint temporary replacements.

The only states not to do so are Kentucky, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. In those states, vacancies can only be filled by special election. Kentucky is the latest to join this group, after its majority-Republican legislature took the appointment power away from Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear earlier this year………

    Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

  5. So basically Mitch McConnell is a vegetable on life support in the hospital rn and bc his wife fled to China there’s no one with power of attorney to pull the plug or give up his seat…

Which is likely by design bc if the seat were vacated before August 3rd the election would become a special election which would allow Thomas Massie to run as an Independent and potentially win.

And the entire Republican Party is going along with this sick charade bc they are wholly owned by a foreign country who views Thomas Massie as a serious threat to their power.

    1. I figure Dad29 supports this. Let the turtle rot. It’s not very Christian behavior but no big deal.
