Yes, Tom Cotton Is a Rat

 Tom Cotton (R-Deep State) often poses for holy pictures and makes grunting noises.  The noises happen because he is a Deep State shill.  Or "rat," if you prefer.

 ...The Intelligence Community does not like rogue actors amid their ranks, especially if those people have cross-silo access.  The silo system is designed to protect the Deep State.  Any entity who can cross reference the inserted information becomes a risk to the enterprise.

Senator Cotton cannot directly oppose Tulsi Gabbard without exposing himself.  Thus someone, not the [Senate Select Committee on Intelligence], writes the legislative changes to the Intelligence Community rules and procedures and Tom Cotton simply advances them.  That’s the way DC operates....

Teh CIA, FBI, DOJ, DOJ-NSD, DoD, and DoS  Boyzzzzz are OK with Gabbard's exposition of Brennan, Power, Rice, Jarrett, Clapper, Comey, and Obama.   They're casualties of war; stuff happens.  Too bad; they got sloppy because they thought they would never get caught and pay for it.  Oh, well.

But they are NOT OK going forward with Gabbard actually doing her job and exposing the cockroaches, snakes, and other vermin (think USAID) to the light of taxpayer examination.  So Cotton "wrote" that bill which will put Gabbard and any other DNI back into their place as a shiny but useless ornament.

It could be worse; she's lucky she isn't standing on a stage in Butler, PA.
