SE Wisconsin area LEO's are warning about a couple of new gang-banger tricks used for carjackings.
The first: a car baby-seat will be left on the side of the road. Usually, mothers will slow and/or stop to see if the seat is occupied with a baby. When they stop and get out to look at the car-seat, their car disappears.
Second: the jackers will throw a raw egg against your windshield. The usual reaction is to use the washer-fluid and wipers to remove the mess. HOWEVER, this only makes the mess into a semi-permanent opaque white film. When you stop the car to scrub it off, your car disappears.
Be careful out there!
Both of these (car seats and egg throwing) are unsubstantiated. Were these LEOs a little older in demographic, using @aol.com email addresses, and forwarded eight layers deep, with prefaces in all caps?
