State legislatures became increasingly corrupt in the late 1800's due to the manipulations of political bosses and heads of big business, which resulted in corruption at the national level. What we we need to do is turn back the clock and make the senate the states house again. <br /><br />1913 was an evil year as there was centralization of too much power and the Constitution was fatally Compromised.
